Terms of Service
The deal, in plain words.
What the service is
Antirithm watches the public sources you name and sends you a brief with the facts that matter, each cited with a link or timestamp. Dorp does the same for a city. Briefs arrive by email, SMS, or WhatsApp, on the schedule you set. You can change what we watch, add or drop sources, or move the schedule by replying in plain words.
The service is in open beta. Features change, briefs are sometimes late, and we may pause or reshape parts of it while we learn.
Who can use it
You must be 18 or older and able to enter a contract. You may only sign up an email address or phone number you control, and we confirm that before we deliver anything to it.
Briefs are produced by AI
Briefs are written by automated agents reading public sources, with automated review before sending. They can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date. Every fact is cited so you can check it, and you should check anything you plan to rely on. Briefs are information, not professional advice. Nothing we send is legal, medical, financial, or investment advice, and we are not responsible for decisions made on the basis of a brief.
Your instructions
Anything you tell us in the setup conversation or in a reply becomes a standing instruction for your briefs. You keep ownership of what you write. You give us permission to store it, pass it to the systems that produce your briefs, and use it to run and improve the service as described in the Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use
The service is for personal information briefs. You agree not to:
- Ask us to monitor a private individual, harass anyone, or gather information for stalking, doxxing, or discrimination.
- Attempt to extract our prompts, override our instructions, or use the conversation for anything other than setting up and steering your briefs.
- Send abusive, threatening, or unlawful content through any of our channels.
- Resell, scrape, or redistribute briefs as a product, or use the service to build a competing one.
- Interfere with the service, probe its security, or exceed reasonable use.
Messages are screened automatically. A conversation that breaks these rules is closed and may be reported where the law requires.
Sources and third parties
Briefs summarize and cite content that belongs to its publishers. We do not claim ownership of it, and following a citation takes you to a site with its own terms. Messaging is carried by Twilio and Meta, whose network terms apply to delivery. Carrier charges for texts and data are yours.
Fees
The service is free during the beta. If we introduce paid plans, we will say so clearly before anything is charged, and free features you already use will not be charged retroactively.
Stopping
You can stop at any time: reply STOP to a text, or email agent@antirithm.app. We can suspend or end an account that breaks these terms or that we cannot serve safely. Either way, delivery stops and the Privacy Policy says what happens to your data.
Our content
The Antirithm and Dorp names, marks, site, and software are ours. You may share briefs you receive for personal use, with their citations intact.
Warranties and liability
The service is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, and uninterrupted delivery. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or opportunity arising from the service or from reliance on a brief. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred US dollars if you paid nothing. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, in which case they apply to the extent permitted.
Indemnity
If your use of the service in breach of these terms leads to a claim against us, you agree to cover the resulting costs and damages.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Before filing any claim, you agree to email us and give us 30 days to resolve it. Claims that cannot be resolved go to the state or federal courts located in the State of Delaware, and both sides consent to that venue.
Changes
We may update these terms. The effective date at the top changes when we do, and for material changes we notify active users by the channel they use with us. Continuing to use the service after that is acceptance of the new terms.
